A recent editorial photography commission brought me together with James Brown, former wild man and founder of Loaded magazine.
Although it wasn’t driving around the Hollywood Hills interviewing A-list actors this time round. We had to find a suitable location to photograph him and his son showing off their football skills.
Fathers, sons, and the enduring bond of the beautiful game
On this occasion James was writing an article for The Daily Telegraph features supplement about the task of parenting and how football bonds fathers and sons.
So my part was to get an energetic editorial shot of the two of them in the local park or rather in his friends back garden 200 yards away where James wanted to carry out the shoot.
I didn’t have long with the two of them as his 15 year old didn’t want to hang around too long to be photographed with his Dad on a Saturday afternoon when he could of been up the park having a kick about with his mates.
The results from the afternoon’s activities with James and his son have been published online and in print.
