I enjoy the challenge of giving companies compelling, engaging natural shots
Commercial photography this Autumn has definitely been a large percentage of my photography work with bookings steady right up to the end of the calendar year. It seems now the work-at-home mentality is coming to an end companies are updating their websites with up-to-date staff corporate portraits and reportage imagery to showcase what they do best. With my editorial photography background I’ve always enjoyed the challenge of giving companies compelling, engaging natural shots. I have photographed some of the UK’s leading businesses and decision makers for The Daily & Sunday Telegraph for 20+ years.
I am used to working to a brief and mood board supplied by the creative director
This year I’ve been shooting commercial shots for FTSE100, FTSE250 domestic and international companies, PR agencies, charities and NGO’s. I provide all my own lighting equipment for the portraits, lighting for internal and external photography using the latest mirrorless cameras with the highest resolution. I’m always updating my kit ensuring my clients get the best results. I also offer companies direction on how to schedule the day to achieve the most in our time working together. For larger companies I am used to working to a brief and mood board supplied by in-house or agency creative teams.
With the company featured in the blog photograph I spent a couple of hours shooting portraits of a team of 8 then we had some exterior group shots showing the outside of the newly relocated offices, finalising with a couple of hours shooting reportage shots around the office. Then there was additional time editing and giving the images a light post-production post photography shoot.
