Last week I was commissioned to take a business portrait of Sophi Tranchell, the chief executive of Divine Chocolate. To coincide with an interview in The Daily Telegraph business section.
Farmer-owned company Divine Chocolate has 85,000 farmers based in Ghana which are organised into a co-operative and own 44pc of the company. Fairtrade is an integral part of the Divine proposition.
Not quite the beautiful African photo location
I was commissioned to meet Sophi at her London offices – unfortunately not in one of the beautiful African cocoa farm locations. But we did find an interesting spiral staircase just outside the offices which made for a great location for this portrait. There was also some quite nice available light for a change which made for a speedy set of portraits enabling Sophi to head of to her next set of meetings on time.
