The New Year has begun with an abundance of commissions. 2019 kick starting with publication of my recent editorial portrait of Abbie Scott, Harlequins and England ladies Rugby star.

I met up with her between her busy training schedule at the Surry Sports centre where Harlequins ladies were meeting for their daily schedule. My brief was to make sure I emphasized how strong and almost Amazonian Abbie was in my portraits. This wasn’t difficult with her being so tall. I opted to place her within the weight training area of the gym adding some additional lighting to bring out her strong features.
