New Year Photography Assignments
2023 has begun with various colourful editorial commissioned assignments. One of my favourite commissions is always photographing the Chinese Lunar New Year celebrations in the capital. Great to see it back in full flow, the last time I photographed this the crowds and performers were all wearing facemasks.
A beautiful crisp winters monring to be out photographing
The weather was superb this year. A cold and crisp winter’s morning. You could even see the condensation from the performers’ breath against the warm winter sun. The photograph I’ve attached was quite early on in the ceremony. I like the concentration on the dragon masters face as he navigates the Oriental Dragon through the crowded streets of London’s West End.
